INTERMEDIATE ROCK CLIMBING WEEKEND All classes meet at 8:00 a.m. and end approximately 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. Day 2 will focus on anchor systems: equalizing with slings and cordelettes; incorporating redundancy in anchors; prevention of shock loading. The remainder of the day will again be spent on the rocks, being challenged on top-roped climbs up to 5.10. All trips are tailored to the guide's discretion. Tipping your guide is customary when you are pleased with their performance. Prices are based on a minimum of two participants. In the event that course participant minimums are not met, your options would include; rescheduling, receiveing a full refund or converting class into "Private Guiding" and paying private guiding rates. Complete the reservation form and then click the submit button at the bottom of that page. You will receive a confirmation letter by way of e-mail within 48 hours. All reservations are subject to cancellation policy. AMGA Certified Guides The American Mountain Guides Association (AMGA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to developing and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism in mountain and rock climbing guiding in the United States. The AMGA meets that goal through a rock climbing Certification Program for individual rock climbing guides and instructors.
